Rostolan is a self catering gite for groups and families, located in Serre Chevalier 1250, Briançon, one of the biggest ski areas in French Alps, close to the valley of the Clarée River and Ecrin National Park. Here are some of the activities offered in Serre Chevalier during winter: Serre-Chevalier is a real paradise for those fond of sport with an accumulated length of 250 kms (150 miles) of downhill skiing, out of which 26 runs are equipped with snow canons. 23 green, 30 blue, 43 red and 15 black - 3 gondolalifts, 6 cable cars, 19 ski lifts and 46 ski tows.

You can experience new forms of alpine skiing such as free-riding or snowboarding in the Eagle Free area and occasionally night skiing. And of course there are numerous cross country ski tracks.

If you're in a sportive mood you can also try climbing on iced waterfalls, snowshoe trekking, ice skating, paragliding, horse riding, snowmobile riding, and for those who feel really adventurous, driving on ice.

You will also find a water leisure park, fitness clubs, a spa complex (Thalassoforme), a thermal spa (hot-water springs), and tennis clubs.

You will be taken in charge by instructors and professionals.
